The goal of Forgotten Dreams is to emphasize the human element, to do that, we’re going to need humans!  We’re looking for models that enjoy the out of the ordinary and are comfortable in the great outdoors.  This is not your grandmother’s cosplay!

    • Obviously, this is a unique environment! Lots of weeds, dead trees, wild animals (dead ones on occasion), barbed wire fences to name the most common obstacles.  And trash. Unfortunately, lots and lots of trash.
    • Film is a slow process; a single shot can take 20 minutes from starting the setup to clicking the shutter.
    • You must be willing to risk a little dirt and grime.

Don't hesitate to share your vision with us!  We also shoot high resolution digital and would be happy to help expand your portfolio.  Our studio is 30’x30’ with a 15’ ceiling; lots of possibilities!

Female models:  We’re looking for the “farmer’s wife” look. No matter how old fashioned is sounds, women bring the warmth that makes a house into a home.  And it was the women who worked around the house, gardens and barns while the men where in the fields. (Yes, that’s a general statement and we know there were exceptions.  Before you get too excited, this is what our Grandmothers, all of whom were farm wives, told us.)

    • You don’t need the perfect figure but you must be physically fit.
    • No major piercings or visible tattoos (ladies didn’t have ink back then.)
    • If you have the appropriate costumes, even better.

Male models: there will be some situations where a “rugged cowboy” or “old weathered farmhand” will be the perfect fit.  

    • We’re not looking for Mr. Universe but you must be physically fit.

Miscellaneous notes:
     
    • Note: we typically won’t enter a building unless they’ve been inspected.  
    • Boots are almost mandatory; and not fashion boots, farm style work boots! 
    • We generally only work on properties where we have obtained written permission to do so.
    • Most property owner’s require a specific liability waiver.  This is in addition to our standard photography waiver.

    • The primary focus is a "vintage costumes" look. We are open to exploring artistic nudity. See Artistic nudes?
